Objective: Muslim female athletes in the past faced many issues and problems. In addition to social and cultural obstacles in their own societies, there were also specific regulations approved by international sports institutions on their sports path that led to more problems for them. Therefore, in this research, the challenges that Muslim women faced in international sports events have been analyzed from the perspective of professional female athletes at the international level.Methodology: The research method of the present study is qualitative. The participants of the present research include female athletes from East Azerbaijan province who have been active at the professional level and have a history of participation in international competitions. A purposive sampling method was employed, and in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 participants in East Azarbayjan. Thematic analysis was applied to analyze the data. Results: According to the analyizing of research data, 17 organizing themes and 3 main themes or overarching themes were extracted from the interviews conducted. The three main themes that were obtained are as follows: Internal obstacles (individual and cultural-social factors), external obstacles (legal mechanisms and regulations of international communities), and the role model of Muslim female athletes. Conclusion: The international sports rules have had an impact on Muslim women's sports in East Azarbayjan. However, the existence of gender discrimination and traditional beliefs about femininity and the role of women becomes a challenge to their presence in sports events, which requires the efforts of all institutions and stakeholders, including governments, sports organizations, media and civil society groups.

Objective: The present study aimed to design a development model for green management in sports venues and facilities based on grounded theory.Methodology: The research was conducted using the grounded theory method. The research population included university faculty members in the fields of sports management and environmental studies, as well as senior managers of sports venues and facilities. The sampling, consisting of 15 individuals, was selected purposefully using the snowball sampling method based on the principle of theoretical saturation. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. To assess validity, four criteria were used: credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. To assess reliability, inter-subject agreement was employed, which was 0.91.Results: The research findings indicated that attention to causal conditions, context, intervening conditions, phenomena, and strategies presented in the research model leads to significant outcomes such as cultural improvement, increased international credibility, financial improvement, infrastructure enhancement, social status improvement, and the preservation of natural resources. Conclusion: It is recommended that the results and the model presented in the present study, which include causal conditions, context, intervening conditions, phenomena, and strategies, be used for the development of green management in sports venues and facilities across various sectors, including the formulation of laws and regulations and the management of relevant human resources.

Objective: The aim of the present study is to explain the factors affecting the presence of donors in the development of sports venues and facilities. Methodology: The research method was a qualitative type of conventional content analysis, in which 16 specialists in the field of sports management, donors in sports, and managers of the Ministry of Sports and General Departments of Sports and Youth were selected and interviews were conducted in a semi-structured in-depth manner. Findings: 28 categories were coded, which were named in the axial coding process in the form of 7 major categories or themes:1- Media capacity 2- Culture governing the society 3- Social background and context of donors 4-Attitudes, interests, and personal beliefs of donors 5- Patronizing policies 6- Culture-building in attracting donors 7- Achievements of endowments in the field of sports. In general, the formation of sports support and charity associations, the activation of provincial committees to attract the participation of sports-supporting donors, the creation of sports support and charity campaigns, the creation of sports support and charity funds, the creation of a sports support museum, were identified as factors for attracting donors. Conclusion: To this end, management strategies such as smoothing the existing obstacles in supporting sports through inter-organizational follow-up and coordination are among the essential measures. In addition to obvious achievements for cultural and social stakeholders, attracting and supporting donors in sports can be a breakthrough in many hidden corners of national and transnational arenas and provide the basis for the prosperity of society.

Objective: The present study aimed to identify the transmission channels through which the COVID-19 pandemic affected the sports economy of Guilan Province.Methodology: This research employed a qualitative approach, utilizing the grounded theory strategy based on Glaser's method (1992). Semi-structured interviews were used as the data collection tool, and participants were selected through purposive and snowball sampling. A total of 19 interviews were conducted, and data collection continued until theoretical saturation and adequacy were achieved. Results: The results of open coding after the final screening indicated that 47 indicators could represent the transmission channels through which COVID-19 influenced the sports economy of Guilan Province. In the axial coding stage, these indicators were categorized into 14 concepts. Finally, selective coding led to the identification of six major categories: disruption in the supply side, disruption in the demand side, disruption in the labor market (employment), disruption in the private sector sports goods and services market, disruption in the public and semi-public sectors, and disruption in investment. Conclusion: Based on the findings, it is recommended that sports policymakers swiftly design and implement supportive measures and compensatory programs for sports business owners, considering the identified transmission channels. These actions can help prevent widespread closures and bankruptcies in the sector while contributing to the economic sustainability of sports. Additionally, governmental support and the introduction of investment incentives can facilitate the entry of new investors and promote the growth and development of sports services both during and after the crisis.
