چکیده [English]

Objective: The present study aimed to identify and perform a cluster analysis of entrepreneurial and business opportunities in the field of sport and active recreation in Lorestan Province.
Methodology: This qualitative research was applied in purpose and exploratory in nature and method. The statistical population included all heads and deputies of the Cultural Heritage Department, sports tourists, target communities, managers of tourism agencies and recreational tours, employees of the Sport and Youth Department, sport entrepreneurs, and researchers and professors active in the field of sport entrepreneurship. The statistical sample (15 individuals) was selected using the snowball method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and a two-stage Delphi method. Ultimately, entrepreneurial and business opportunities in sport and recreation were categorized through three stages of open, axial, and selective coding.
Results: The results indicated that entrepreneurial opportunities encompass environmental factors (natural and geographical potentials, hydrotherapy and wellness, ecotourism and infrastructure, water and adventure sports), development processes of recreational sports tourism (infrastructural potentials such as accommodation, welfare, and sports/recreational facilities), and their outcomes (commercialization of this industry, along with entrepreneurship, job creation, and economic development).
Conclusion: The research findings confirm that the creation of entrepreneurial opportunities in sports-recreational tourism is a function of the tripartite interaction of the environmental ecosystem (including natural attractions, geotourism, and specialized infrastructure), industrial development processes (such as establishing integrated accommodation, welfare, and sports infrastructure), and socio-economic outcomes (such as service commercialization, development of local businesses, and improvement of regional economic indicators).
