The purpose of this research was to formulate a conceptual framework for the development of cycling in Iran. The research method was qualitative (systematic exploratory). The statistical population included scientific and executive experts related to the subject of the research. A sufficient statistical sample was estimated based on theoretical saturation and purposefully sampled (13 people). The research tools included systematic library study and semi-structured interviews. The validity of the tool was coded and confirmed based on the scientific and legal validity of the sample (persons and documents) and the level of agreement between the correctors. The analysis method included multi-step coding. The results showed that the distribution of the identified factors (64 cases) for the areas of cycling include: public cycling (15 cases), recreational cycling (13 cases), sports cycling (15 cases) and common three The field is (21 items). Also, the distribution of these factors for the dimensions of alignment analysis includes; Alignment axes (13 cases), alignment capacities (10 cases), alignment challenges (14 cases), alignment strategies (13 cases) and alignment consequences (14 cases). Based on the framework, it can be said that the research model has statistical and conceptual validity suitable for the strategic analysis of cycling development. Based on the content of the model, the development of cycling follows a systemic pattern, and its key and strategic factors form horizontal and vertical causal loops in the model, which managers should base on in planning, implementation and evaluation.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to design a model for the role of sport in world peace.Methodology: In this qualitative research method, the foundation data method has been used to answer the research questions. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The statistical population of the study consisted of all experts and specialists who were familiar with the subject of peace and sports. According to the data foundation method, sampling was done theoretically. Data analysis was performed using three stages of open, axial and selective coding using version 7 of Atlas-Ti software. Results: After open coding, the categories of causal conditions included Politics, Internationalism, Education, and Economics. Underlying conditions included Organizational, Political, Socio-Cultural, and International conditions. Strategies of action included Political, Organizational, Educational, Managerial strategies and its Structural and Human Consequences were extracted. Then, in the axial and selective coding stage, the link between these categories was determined in the form of a paradigm model of the research and the final theory was formed. Conclusion: Based on the results of research on the role of sport in world peace, it can be said that a challenging path is still ahead. It seems that by emphasizing the role of Politics, International Relations, Education and constructive cooperation between national and international sports authorities and world rulers, one can hope to improve the current situation and promote world peace through sport.

The statistical population of this study includes managers of sports federations, coaches, athletes, and referees. The statistical sample was estimated to be 10 to 20 times the dimensions drawn in the conceptual model based on a sufficient number of models for modeling in PLS software (n=160). A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data also formal validity of questionnaire was confirmed by experts (12 people). Its reliability was estimated by using Cronbach's alpha test (0.91) and combined reliability. Structural equation modeling was used in PLS3-SPSS24 software for analyze data and investigating fit of model. Results: Results indicated that effect of causal and contextual and interventionist conditions on professionalization of sports federations (0.37), (0.19), (0.74) were significant. Also, contextual and interventionist conditions on strategies (0.28), (0.24). Finally, the results showed that the effect of professionalization on strategies (0.58), and strategies with consequences (0.84) is direct, positive and significant. Conclusion: : Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that recognizing the paths of the professionalization process can help Iranian sports federations to achieve a business process. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the health and safety of indoor pools in Guilan province and compare it with national and international standards.Methodology: It was a descriptive survey and 21 indoor pools of 29 pools in Guilan province were studied. To collect data, a structured checklist including 116 items was used. Descriptive statistics and one sample t-test were used to test the hypothesis at P≥ 0.05.Results: The results showed that the score of health and safety of toilets as well as the health of locker rooms, showers, and inner courtyard of pools were significantly higher than the mean value (p<0.05) and were close to the standards. On the other hand, the safety of locker rooms and showers, inner courtyard, disabled facilities, and safety and rescue devices were significantly lower than the mean value (p<0.05) and did not befit the existing standards. Conclusion: Overall, the health, safety and staffing of indoor pools in Guilan province differed from national and international standards. AbstractObjective: The purpose of the present study was to identify, prioritize, and weight performance evaluation indexes of sports clubs.Methodology: This research was carried out in two steps. In the first step, indexes and sub-indexes of performance evaluation were recognized through consulting literature review and background of research, and 15 sport management experts and professors using Delphi process. In this step 6 indexes and 33 sub indexes were identified. In step two, relative weight and rank of each of indexes and sub indexes which were recognized in pervious step were analyzed in expert choice software with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique taking into consideration the views of 57 professors and club managers in Tehran. Results: Results showed that the most important indexes to evaluate the performance of the clubs in Tehran were human resources, financial resources, physical resources and equipment, environment, planning, organization and evaluation, technical affairs and sports, and the environment respectively. Also, most general sub-indexes were managerial stability, coaching stability, wages paid to players, coaches and staff, and quality of specialized staff club, set standards of performance evaluation respectively. Conclusion: Due to the importance of the most important indexes of the clubs in Tehran, according to sources at the club should be a priorit. Keywords: Analytic hierarchy process, Index, Performance evaluation, Sport clubs.

AbstractObjective: This study was intended to predict the success of countries at the Asian Games through macro-economic, political, social and cultural variables.Methodology: We used the information of all variables including urban population, education expenditures, age structure, GDP real growth rate, GDP per capita, unemployment rate, population, inflation average, current account balance, life expectancy at birth and merchandise trade of all the participating countries in Asian Games from 1970 to 2006 in order to build the model. This model was then tested by the information of variables in 2010. The prediction was based on the total number of medals received by in each country. In this study, we used WEKA software that is a popular suite of machine learning software written in Java. Results: The value of correlation coefficient between the predicted and original ranks was 77.18% according to Tree model, 90.42% according to Neural Network model and 91.35% according to K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm. Based on the analysis, K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm had the highest correlation coefficient among the 3 models. This model, among 28 countries which won medals in Asian games, predicted the ranks of 23 countries with the maximum difference of 3 between predicted and original ranks, 3 countries with the maximum difference of 4 to 6 between predicted and original ranks and 2 countries with the maximum difference of more than 6 between predicted and original ranks. The previous studies have mostly focused on a small number of variables. The question is why the impact of macro level factors on sport success has been decreased. The results of this study indicated that the macro level variables still have a great impact on sport success and this reduction in impact proportion is due to the replacement of variables. Conclusion: This study aimed to use cultural and social variables besides political and economic variables, because in previous studies due to quantification problems, they were not included in the research design. The point is that many variables can simultaneously have economic, political, cultural and social weights, but their weights can be different in each of these ranges. Keywords: Prediction, Asian games, Macro variables.
