* Sports management is an interdisciplinary knowledge and profession with the foundations of the humanities and social sciences. Therefore, the results of large-scale research, development and prospective programs or development of a field that is carried out in areas such as policymaking, economics and tourism, culture and technology, sustainable development, futures studies, theorizing and social issues of sports.

* According to the resolution of the Vice Chancellor of Research and Technology of the University of Guilan, the author(s) are charged 4,000,000 Rials for the publication. Esteemed authors are required to upload copies of their payment receipts upon approval from the reviewers and before the article acceptance.
* All submitted articles must be formatted in the latest template of the journal, found at Instructions for Authors. Otherwise, the journal office is not authorized to accept and articles for publication.
* All sources must be written in English; references must be in APA style and the references at the end of the article must be hyperlinked to the original article.
* According to the journal's new policy, articles written with the participation of international professors will be given priority.
* According to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology's Scientific Journals Commission's guidelines on not allocating more than 10 percent of published articles per year to duplicate authors, articles from individuals who have at least two accepted or under review articles will be rejected.
* According to the regulations of the Islamic World Citation Database (ISC), no more than 25 percent of articles should be published by authors affiliated with the journal's franchise institution in any given year, and no more than 10 percent of articles should be assigned to the editor, managing director, or members of the editorial board in any given year.
