Abstract
Objective: The literature of strategic management is clearly advocating and supporting the effectiveness of strategic plans. Because the effectiveness of the strategic planning of an organization is associated with the level of implementing the targets with task results. The purpose of this study was to examine the influenceof Managers’ authority and strategic control level on the effectiveness of the strategic plans through political behaviors in ministry of sport and youth.
Methodology: The present research is in terms of purpose an applicable research and in terms of strategic and quantitative as a correlation path, it is a field in terms of data collection and in terms of prospective time. The statistical society of the research was all employees of Ministry of Sport and Youth. The sample volume was estimated 370 people and the sampling method was simple stochastic. Questionnaire was used in order to collect the data and in order to analyze the findings, structural equation modeling was applied.
Results: Analysis of the findings showed that in one case independent variables influence the strategic plans and in other cases, these factors reduce political behavior. It was also found that political behavior had a negative impact on the effectiveness of strategic plans.
Conclusion: Based on the findings of this research, the effectiveness of strategic plans is influenced by political behaviors, the discretion of managers, and the level of strategic control.
