Abstract
Objective: Professional sports have become a constant part of profit-oriented economic structures and form their existence in sports clubs, so its development and extensive activities would not be possible without sports clubs. The aim of this study was to Qualitative Investigation causal, contextual and Intervening factors in establishing a professional management of sport club in Iranian volleyball
Methodology: To meet this purpose, grounded theory was used. The statistical population of the study included all key informants in the field of professional volleyball club management in the country. Participants in this study included 20 people, who were selected through theoretical sampling. Data collection and analysis continued until the theoretical saturation was reached. acceptability criteria in 10 indicators were used for validity and reliability of the study. The coding schemes of grounded theory including open, axial and selective coding yielded a set of categories and subcategories
Results: Based on the research findings, it can be stated that legal and economic factors in the causal factors section, financial and legal factors in the contextual factors section and investment factor in the facilitator Intervening factors section and management factor in the limiter Intervening factors section are effective in establishing a professional volleyball club in Iran.
Conclusion: Professional volleyball club management in Iran needs a legal framework in order to rationalize the conditions for the presence of privately owned and cooperative teams, a platform that is based on generating income for the activities of sports clubs.
