Objective: This study aimed to explore the factors affecting transgender people’s participation in sports and the consequences of such participation.
Methodology: This study was conducted with a qualitative approach and using thematic analysis method. In order to collect data, in-depth and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 experts in sports management and social sciences. Thematic analysis method of Braun & Clarke (2006) and MAXQDA software were used to analyze the data, and 218 initial statements were obtained.
Results: In the section of factors influencing the sports activities of transgender people, eight main themes were identified, the most important of which were security concerns and privacy, cultural and social restrictions, and the role of family and their support. The consequences section had five main themes: improved mental and physical health, positive social development and interactions, enhanced gender identity and self-recognition, post-participation psychological challenges and pressures, and new social and employment opportunities. The study's findings showed that various individual and structural factors affect transgender individuals' participation in sports. This involvement can also have a positive impact on the quality of life, gender identity, and social development of this group.
Conclusion: These findings indicate that sports are a key tool for improving the quality of life for transgender individuals, but achieving this requires macro-level planning, policy reform, and the creation of safe and inclusive environments in society.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of government expenditures and expenditures on sports expenses of Iranian households. Methodology: The present study is a descriptive-analytic study using data mining. Due to the nature of the subject, its data was collected using a library method. The short-term and long-term effects of government expenditures on sport budgets of Iranian households, using the annual statistics and data of the variables during 1993 to 2013, were investigated through ARDL and ECM models. Results: The results of the research have shown that the government expenditures and GDP have a positive and significant effect on the sports budget of households in Iran in the short term. But the results did not confirm the long-term effects of government expenditures on private sports use in Iran. Conclusion: Adopting appropriate financial policies by governments can help expand the consumption of households and, consequently increase participation rate in sport

Objective: The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of socio-economic factors on sports participation in Maragheh households. Methodology: It is an applied descriptive-correlational research. The research population consisted of all the households in the town of Maragheh. According to the Statistical Yearbook of the province in 2011, Maragheh has the estimated households of 47,982. According to Morgan's table, 386 households were selected as sample by cluster random sampling. The research instrument was the Socio-economic questionnaire (Godratnema, Heidarinejad and Davoodi, 2013). The reliability coefficient was 0.79. To test the normal distribution of data, Kolmogorov- Smirnov was measured. The analysis of data was done using regression at a significance level of 0.05. Results: The results showed that social factors did not significantly affect households' sport participation (P≥0.05). However, the economic factors influenced the sports participation (P≤0/001). Conclusion: According to the results, in order to increase the households' sports participation, economic factors are more important than social factors.

The population included the emergency medicine staff (N≈370), and the experts in medicine and health system in the province of Guilan. The staff (Cochran's formula: n=201) by random sampling and the experts (n=13) by convenience and purposeful sampling were selected. Research tool was the structured questionnaire (6 sections and 33 items) as well as a transcript of the interview (the quality evaluation of components for the needs assessment). The scaling was associated with each section (Likert scale, case, the Open-ended). The theoretical validity (Sigma counting=0.89, 10 experts) and reliability (retest=0.88) were acceptable. Analysis of Findings was done by the descriptive and inferential statistics (K-S and Chi-square) in the Excel and SPSS20 software. Results: The results were the followings: the sport facilities were few; workplace stress was above average but physical activity was below average; there were various physical side effects; the satisfaction at the services and their physical activity was low; and there was significant difference between the existing physical activity and the desired among the staff. Also, the significant difference was observed between the indicators according to the staff's view (p=0<0005).
