Objective: This study aimed to identify and categorize the factors influencing the improvement of Iran's sports delegation performance in the Asian Games and the Olympic Games, and to provide practical strategies for enhancing this performance.Methodology: A qualitative research design was employed, based on the grounded theory approach using Glaser’s emerging method. The statistical population included officials from the Ministry of Sport and Youth, managers of the National Olympic Committee, presidents and secretaries of sports federations, faculty members in sports sciences, as well as coaches and athletes. Theoretical sampling was used, and theoretical saturation was achieved after conducting 25 interviews. Data were analyzed in three stages: open coding, axial coding, and selective coding.Results: A total of 296 indicators were identified and categorized across three levels (micro, meso, and macro) under 20 main themes and 66 sub-themes. At the micro level, factors such as physiological and physical conditions, psychological aspects, and technical, cognitive, and ethical skills were identified. At the meso level, the main themes included sports management and policymaking, financial resource management, strategic investment, events, support and logistics, facilities and equipment, human resources, media, and research. At the macro level, economic conditions, political relations, laws and regulations, cultural and social factors, modern technologies, and the geographical environment were emphasized.Conclusion: The results indicate that improving the performance of Iran’s sports delegation requires simultaneous attention to micro, meso, and macro level factors. Integration and coordination among these levels can provide the foundation for sustainable success in international sports competitions.

Objective: The purpose of the research was the analysis of the Iran attendance in 15 Period of the Olympic Games and comparison with other contingents counters. Methodology: Research method was descriptive and type of analytic study. Sample was 15 period of Iran attendance in summer Olympic games and was equal to society. Data gathered from classify and analyzing of articles, reports and resource related to Olympic Games. Also, for analysis data descriptive, inferential statistics and lexicograph method was used. Results: Results showed that Iran attendance in Olympic Games from 1948-2004 gain priority 9 0/0, 4 0/0 and 16 0/0 of distributed medals of Asia, Africa and Central and South America contingents and success percent (medal/attendance number) of Iran in three sport of wrestling, weightlifting and taekwondo was 93 0/0, 80 0/0 and 66 0/0. Iran performance in 16, 19 and 30 period of Olympic Games mutation and among this periods decrees process. Weakest performance of Iran from viewpoint of distrusted medal and efficiency ratio (medal/population) was between 1988 until 1996. Iran in Beijing 2008 Olympic Games had weakest performance and in the world, Asia, Africa and Central and South America contingents in priority was 17, 5, 2 and 1 rank. So, mean rank of Iran in all attendant Olympic Games in priority was 31.26, 4.33, 2.56 and 3.40 in the world, Asia, Africa and Central and South America contingents. Conclusion: According to Olympic Games distribute table of medal and ratio efficiency and compare to Asia, Africa and Central and South America countries, Iran has high rank and good place

Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize fluctuation factors of Iran wrestling team performance at Olympic Games from the perspective of experts. Methodology: The research sample was selected using purposive and availability sampling and that consisted of 110 people including managers of wrestling federation and provincial delegations (25 people), Academic experts (15 people), Coaches of grade І (30 people), and elite wrestlers at the national level (40 people). The instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 42 questions in six subscales that its face, content and content validity was approved. The questionnaire’s reliability was measured by Cronbach''s alpha (0.92). In order to analyze data, descriptive and inferential statistical methods (Friedman test and exploratory factor analysis) were used. General calculations was done using SPSS software at the significant level of p≤0/05. Results: Results showed that the factor of management and planning has the greatest impact on fluctuations of Iran’s wrestling team performance at Olympic Games and factors of academic issues, Public relations and media, identification and development of talents, Qualification of management and sport events are the next priorities. Conclusion: It is recommended that wrestling federation officials considering these factors and their priorities, try to remove the obstacles in order to witness stable developments and no fluctuations in Iran wrestling team performance at the international arena such as Olympic games.
